Adult Vacancies

We currently have opportunities for people to join the County Team in a variety of roles. These could each be filled by one person or by a team of people. The precise role descriptions would be negotiated with the County Commissioner to ensure we can provide the best support for all.


ACC Growth & Development

To support Districts in growing and developing

Growth = increasing membership

·       Support and promote adult recruitment initiatives, currently our top priority

·       Support and promote youth recruitment initiatives

Development = having Scouting where it currently does not exist

·       Promoting Scouting in all areas of the County

·       Help to establish satellite Sections

·       Support and promote initiatives to get Scouting in all communities

·       Encourage full inclusivity


ACC Programme Support

To provide support directly to ADCs and other District personnel for them to support all Sections in their Districts.

Facilitate regular meetings for these people to network and exchange ideas.

To support and promote new programme initiatives

To determine the Sectional needs across the County

To enable County events to take place
